Five Senses
The Five Senses is created for a response to a company which called Upstatement in Boston. The Upstatement mainly creates some digital designs such as websites or apps. After the visit, I realize there are some restrictions of digital art and design. Therefore, using the paper print to talk about the possibility of traditional printing. There are something people still can not replace by the digital design nowadays. Personally, the paper material is a platform to give the audience physical experience which could not reach by the digital material. For example, the touch feeling differ from device to paper. I choose transparent paper to show the material of screen which made by liquid crystal. Also, the typography is based on one website the Upstatement had created for a school. I create a new online logo for the Boston University to imitate the layout of that website. The content is talking about the knowledge of five senses in general.
